"Operation Unity: Youth Capturing Cultural Diversity in Photos and Essays" opened on Tuesday, January 17 at Tower City.  The exhibition features stories by a diverse group of inner-city Los Angeles students whose lives were impacted by their time in Israel, and artwork by Cleveland public school students on the theme of diversity.

This exhibition was timed to coincide with the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and was sponsored by the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, Forest City Enterprises, Cleveland Municipal School District and Operation Unity.

For more insight into the exhibition and Operation Unity, see Sam Fulwood's column as it appeared in the Plain Dealer.
